So it’s nearly the first week and I’ve found it so useful so far.
As a Mum, I’m very used to letting my Art be the last priority after everything else. This challenge has helped me commit to what I love doing in a measured way. I’m hoping that by the end of the month, putting my creativity in a box and on hold, won’t happen as often. I think what’s really lovely ,is that if this challenge hadn’t existed, then neither would these paintings. I was thinking yesterday ,that last week, these paintings didn’t exist in the World, now that is so inspiring and gives me the desire to carry on. Each day it’s like giving birth to a totally new creation, this might sound a bit ‘new age’ or soft but it’s what I really feel and each piece really matters that much to me. And ,like with children, each one can teach us something new about ourselves. So this week has seen me become more committed to my work. Without me giving it time, nothing will happen, now that’s a good lesson!
